OxiSelect™ Protein Carbonyl ELISA Assay – 96-Well Plate
The OxiSelect™ Protein Carbonyl ELISA Assay (96-well plate) is a sensitive and convenient immunoassay designed for the quantitative measurement of protein carbonyls, one of the most widely used biomarkers of protein oxidation and oxidative stress. This ready-to-use kit is ideal for basic research, preclinical studies, and oxidative stress profiling in a wide range of biological samples.

Principle of the Assay
Protein carbonyls formed during oxidative damage are first derivatized with dinitrophenylhydrazine (DNPH) to create stable DNP-protein adducts. These adducts are then captured in a 96-well plate and detected using a DNP-specific antibody, followed by a colorimetric readout. The absorbance is proportional to the carbonyl content in the sample.
